Just finished talking to Red, he sent me part of his and Green's conversation today. Apparently, Green didn't speak to him till late into the day, and when he finally did, it was on MSN and the first words he said were "I'm not going to be around most of today. And I'm not going to be around most of tomorrow."
Not particularly a smart way of saying hi to Red considering how bitchy Red was being yesterday. Red told me how seeing those two sentences made him angry/hurt again. He says he was about to start telling Green off again but stopped himself (I bet he actually did jab Green at least two or three times, he's thinks he's really good at choosing words to hurt people, and in general tends to be a passive aggressive bitch.)
Instead, Red says he told Green about one of their mutual friends, this spanish guy that I don't know. Apparently the spanish guy was so in love with some chick he couldn't have (but could only be friends with) that he had been suicidal for a while. However, now the spanish guy is apparently trying to be happy as a friend, and simply "basking in her glory" without trying to overstep the boundaries of friendship. This is apparently where Red got the idea of behaving like a dog with Green. Red basically explained that regardless of what he might want, or how he might be hurt, he's going to ignore everything (as in the pain, jealousy, Green's romantic ventures, et cetera) and just be happy like a pathetic little fag when he gets to hang out/do things with Green.
After hearing all that, Red says Green didn't comment on it, at all. Not even an "okay," or anything like that. This apparently infuriated Red. So Red asked Green what he thought about yesterday's conversation (the one pictured in the first post.) Green's response was "I don't know what to say. And I'd rather not bring it up again." Now, this is a typical response for Green. If any of you recall when Red told Green off after Green was about to start dating Chelsea, Green's reaction had been pretty much "let me ignore all this." After some back and forth about pretending nothing was wrong and forgetting issues, Red told him this:
"bring it up again, please. if you somehow suddenly know what to say. or at least know what it made you feel.
because i can't say things like that and just let it go.
and i don't want it eating me away.
anyways.
won't bother you anymore. have fun, in case you don't get any free time."
Apparently Red thought these were fairly passive statements, because after that, he stopped talking and tried to take a nap. However, apparently he had some kind of epiphany in bed, and came back, found that Green hadn't responded at all, and wrote this:
"no, actually fuck this. sorry for everything. i mean it. you don't have to tell me anything.
and it doesn't matter what i said.
so uh, pretend away i guess. enjoy yourself. happy new years."
Red says he thinks this'll make up for everything. Green's kind of dull, so he might miss the little jab ("pretend away"), though Red says he didn't mean that to be a jab. From my view, however, that's definitely a jab.
Either way, after this apparently Red and Green started talking more like they were before all this drama. Red sounds happier, though it's most likely not going to last. I give him until tomorrow before he goes into bitch mode and flips another shit out of jealousy or something. One thing that is already bothering Red is that Green hasn't said "happy birthday" to him yet. Green's told me he hates his own birthday, so he may be purposefully ignoring it, but if Green simply forgot and Red finds out, he's most definitely going to flip a shit, or at least use it as ammunition for the next time he tries to prod a reaction out of Green. Green's apparently already left for his New Year's eve party, while Red's gone out clubbing. He's most likely going to get drunk, but for some reason never fucks a random guy. He should, it would probably help him get over Green.

I think Red should do all of us a favour and dropkick Green. Has anyone ever actually told Red that he should forget about Green because it's obvious Green doesn't give a shit about Red?
ReplyDeleteWell, a friend of Red supposedly hates Green, because everytime Red talks about Green, Green comes off as an uncaring asshole. Except Green occasionally actually shows that he cares deeply about Red (Red's stuck on the fact that Green once cried after he realized he had been hurting Red by being a dick. Might write that up in the next update.) I think that one of the anons of the original thread might have a point - Green is just being a guy. He might actually have feelings for Red, but he's not going to let himself feel them. Probably never, but Red won't accept that.
